Lol, i got the RS3 grille and I slapped it on to see what it looking like, but I liked the green contrast too much, lol. Im planning a new scheme around the grille though. I just need the funds to do so.

So what do you have in the works there?

 

Shaving the rear bumper marker lights, shaving front fender lights, shaving front squirters, rear squirter and wiper hole. Gonna repaint house of Kolor Lemon yellow (super close match but has some flake) and graphics on the side.

I hope to have it back by February 1.

I've seen it in person. You may not like the style but the guy did a great job in doing it, very clean, and very well thought out. I like that the fact that it's so bold.

 

Preliminary drawing, I know it looks like a 2 year old did it, not me, the painter but to give him an idea..... I was kinda nervous


All the paint is House of Kolor due to the candies and pearls involved.
Candy purple, like on my girls box. He then misted it with water and came back over the water droplets with pearl white. I know the camera phone pix don't do any justice but it's just sick.


I was thinking snake skin and keeping with my eventual anime theme, we decided for dragon scales.


NO where near done but getting there, minus them hood squirters.


HOK black


Now HOK chrome on top of the black to give it a black chrome finish...


And to go inside the black chrome.......gears. I figure it's gonna take a good 5 hours to put the gears in the chrome all over the car, but it will be worth it in the end.


Everything is being covered through the door jams, rear hatch and front grill.

I'm gonna keep posting updates 'til it's out of the booth.

Just to give ya an idea, this is my girl's toaster after 2 1/2 weeks in his shop.

Wow--I have been thinking aout a roof visor for some time, but someone sure beat me to it!!

 

Anyone know if they make these visors? or any front top-o-the windshield visors?

 

$5k with no dents to remove. Did shave the hood squirters, front fender turn signals, fixded the cracks in my lower front bumper, shaved the rear squirter and wiper and that dumb assed ugly square box cover where the tow bar goes.

 

bump on those roof visors--anyone seen them?
