i love it... "de-rice" project. alot of people sport boxes like that proudly and get really offended if you mention their graphics or spoilers as being ricey.

i like what you have done to correct the problem. If you just lower it on some df210 or s-tech springs you should be ok. looks nice.

one question, how much did those tires/wheels up your RPMs on the freeway?

Well I wouldn't go so far as to bash someone elses car if they like the stickers...but for me it was a NO NO! Just like how I think interior flood lights are ricey (which my car has)....but even mentioning that already offended someone that has em and loves em. I just keep mine turned off! ;)

As for the RPM's....WOW....you got me?? I've only onwed the car for 2 weeks now, and the tack is so far out of view and tiny, I don't think I would have ever noticed it. I'm too busy staring out the huge front window pretending I'm driving a bus to notice that little round pod in the center of the dash!

For you guys running the df210's or tein springs.....which one has the best drop and ride out of the two? I want to keep it VERY daily drivable with just a slight drop, but nothing bouncy/ annoying, or too low? Any advice is super appreciated!

dmpsk8 - Your car looks sick, what the heck is that silver dish thing in your bumper? Almost looks like a turbo inlet tube or an intake inlet pipe? Also, where do you guys get those chrome door handles, sidemarker lights and rear hatch handle from??

Well, honestly....it's a bit of a pain in the a$$, but it's mostly just elbow grease. If you want it off, I would go for it....especially if it's just on the front corner.

get smaller tires, it will lower it and won't rub

Lower it yes but make the wheelgap crazy big.
Love it without those ugly graphics. It's nice to see another BCP on the boards too. Wlecome!
If you only want a slight drop I suggest some H Techs like mine. It's only dropped like 1.2" and rides better than stock with Monroes all around. Check my profile pics and see what ya think? Take care.

Thanks bro, I checked out your pics and it looks good. How would you say the ride compares to stock? Is it noticeably stiffer/bouncier....or does it feel about the same? I want a ride that feels almost stock in regards to ride, but obviously feel a little better on turns etc.
I'll most likely keep the stock shocks as well, they seem to be in good condition, and a slight drop shouldn't put enough pressure on them to wear them out any sooner.

BTW-Thanks for the free link to the Scion XB shop manual!

UPDATE - I just purchased a bunch of stock goodies like the cargo net, cargo cover, etc etc....and I gotta say the stock arm rest is AWESOME!! One of the best mods I've ever done on a car! (For the price and ease of installation of course)

Yeah, just slightly firmer than the stock springs. If you add the Progress rear bar and lose the stock struts and shocks the ride will be great all around. The best setup would be to add Koni adjustable struts/shocks but the Monroes do ride more luxurious than stockers.

He cheated. He used that removal wheel. I always have to peel em by hand.

im not a fan of CF, its not a race car.
Yeah I guess that's true. But I think it looks okay on a black car since it won't stand out too much, and it saves on painting costs! ;)
Plus on most cars the CF isn't even shown...on my Z the fenders and floors are all CF but, nothing is showing...it's all painted from the factory.
You could always color match your CF...

^ No wiper nozzles? I thought about getting a carbon fiber hood someday. Can you drill a small hole for the nozzles or would it crack or damage it some way, I've never done anything with carbon fiber.

You can drill through it no problem. I'd seal the exposed cf with superglue though.
