I spotted my first "away from dealership" xB this morning. I saw one on Tuesday
when I was dropping my box off at the dealership for it's Moonroof(s) install,
but it was stock so maybe that was a porter or something...

Anywho, I was Eastbound on Butterfield when I see a brother driving a BOP
away from a stop light. He smoked everyone else (who were probably asleep but still)
he sure knew how to make that box move!

It was loaded with stickers along the ground FX and had a ricy sounding muff,
but damn it looked good!

Hey, I drive down Butterfield every day headed East at about 7:00 to 7:30 am and
West between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. I haven't seen that one yet! Hope to drive by you some day on Butterfied. Keep up the good posting.

 

I'm really surprised I've not seen more of you then Joe. But like I said, yours was
the first box I had ever seen, and that was MONTHS ago...even stock it
really inspired me to check out he Scion in the first place when my SAAB was
totaled.

I leave home (Butterfield and Naperville Rd) sometime between 6:30AM and 7AM
depending on weather and if I feel like getting to work early.

I take Butterfield to 355 N (which turns into 290/53), then I hop on 90E and
get off at Arlington/Algonquin and go East on Algonquin to UOP where I work.

I've never seen you on Butterfield (which surprises me now) but I did catch you
once before in the fall I think.

Thanks for the compliment on my posts. I know I get a bit controversial and heavy
handed, but I try to speak with experience rather then emotion.

 

Man when I read Downers Grove, I thought it was mine, no stickers, but I got me some cool lookin moon discs. Hope I run into some of you, all I keep seeing is really old people, I pull up to them to give them a thumbs up or something, and they're white knucklin it and don't seem impressed to be seeing another box.

 

When I was driving to work the other day I had some jerk in a xb trying to pull along side me in traffic to wave at me. He was being reckless and I ignored him. I'm going to get my windows tinted so nobody can see me as i'm not interested in giving thumbs up or waving or any of that nonsense.

around the corner from me man, I'm at the Briarbrook Apartments just off
Butterfield and Naperville Rd.

SCA, I'll make sure to get you a bumper sticker that says
"does not play well with others"

 

Post your mods and if you have any ICE seeing now that we all know where you live. It'll make it much easier.

 

Cool! Should I include the fact that I have several fire-arm
and I've lots of tactical pistol training under my belt?

I go the same way home and get of on Kirchoff in Rolling Meadows. I'll keep and eye out for you on the road. Do you go about 75-80 on 355 like I do. I love that road, I call it the 355 raceway.

 

Nah, it's usually stop and go for me. I just go with the flow.
