Default 04 xb price drop

considering we are days away from 2005 what kind of price drop can we expect on the 04 xb? when i went to the dealer the other day the difference between an 04 automatic and 05 manual was $200 - and a $300 difference between 04 and 05 automatics. it doesnt seem right- the other thing that seemed off was the fact the salesman was pushin the 04 on me but when i told him i probally wouldnt buy until the new year he retracted his financing offer. should i wait untill after the new year to buy an 04 xb or will the price be the same. if its only $200 i might as well go for the 05 automatic.

These cars hold value well for some reason. I guess because it's basically a Toyota :D

2004 Scions have been sold out since June of this year. That is when only 2005's have been available. I highly doubt that you can find a NEW 2004 at any Scion dealer.

I have the same inquiry, my mother believes that the price will some how drastically drop, but i doubt it, seeing the differences from the 04 and 05 look like nothing.

I got my 05 manual last week. It was $14200. What are the prices like elsewhere?

If prices dropped, it would go against Scion's pure pricing policy.

its true it would be anit-pure price but the simple fact is its an 04 and they are never going to get rid of them to make room for the 05s if theres no price cut. it seems like its just bad bussiness.. and an easy way for dealers to hide behind the pure price,,,

There are no 2004's left as I said before. If you go to buy a Scion now, you will get a 2005. That has been happening since June of this year.
