Does anyone know what month the 06 Xb will be relased.

 

Usually new vehicles, doesnt matter the dealer will begin to release new models in early spring around may or june. But just to double check call up a local dealer & find out. Hope that helps you.

 

I am not sure about this, I have just heard something like scion was going to stop making the Xb's in a couple years. Not sure what year. Is there any truth to this?

 

Spring? June/July?... nah. Try August-Sept.

 

it all depends on when they feel like releasing them - I remember quiet clearly working on "1997" (new body) F150's in December 1995. - Ford wanted a big jump on the model year.

 

I picked up my 05 in June of 04

 

that is quite early cuz in sacramento they had 04's sitting on the lots till early september. who knows , id say august or so and 06 is the last year for xb.

 

Where did you hear that `06 was the last year for xB ?

I just watched a VIDEO from JAPAN by G.O.D. (the Group not the SAVIOR )
and in the beginning a White car that Looks a Lot like our Boxes . Everything Except the FRONT end. On the xB`s we know the Front Hood is FLAT , but this car I saw sure looked like ours, the same back end, little back side window, skirting around and low profile looking . But the difference was the front, this one SLOPED down a little. It was driving by and Maybe it is and Maybe not , but if it was , I like ours better .

 

the 06 myth has been out forever , scion corporate has made a statement saying all models will have a limited production of 3 years so , 04 , 05 , 06. times up.

 

Well then maybe our -Classic- LOOKING car will Be a Classic.
So maybe the Little car that didnt (cost too much) will be worth a lot.

 

.let the xB die after '06 ; if you must keep it around as as "limited" , make it very "limited" .

I'm figuring I'll wait until the 06's come out late this summer or early fall to buy my xB, (as long as my other vehicles hang together). I'm hoping Scion reads these forums as there are some consistent suggestions where improvements can be made, many would not cost much at all to implement. Also availability of more dealer accessories, cruise control, rear interior lighting, and a sunroof come to mind. xB release 3.0 later in the year maybe? Also, my better half wants to get more miles out of our current fleet before we fork over the money. By this fall, all our vehicles will have over 100K miles with a hard New England winter coming. Toyota has a history, (not yet really shown with the Scion brand yet) of making incremental improvements or refinements each model year. Even a couple of new colors would be nice. We'll see.

 

Cannabaker: that sounds like the car I saw go past in the background in the American vesion of The Grudge. Looked like a Porte front end grafted on a xB. I would rather see the Porte come here in tact as the new xA.

 

Damn, I dont know the Porta .... But there was something funny about the car . I tried replaying it and stoping it on my dvr to get a clear pic , but it was moving . But Everything from the front window back was an xB , even the 15" that look like 12" . But the front end sloped down . It even had the back wing . The video was made in Japan and was released this Month . So it will be interesting to see what happens and how it turns out . I like our nose .

 

I just posted the best pic I could get off my pc in the member galleries . It was on the front ScionLife page saying newest post . I dont know if its a bB or not . This pic was Released this month from JAPAN in a music video . Tell me what you think .

 

2005 xb's were released in july with the nationwide availability. All 2005 scions were released at that time.
