Can anyone tell/guess when the '07 xb's will be arriving?

 

never...there is not going to be an 07 as we know it

 

As I understand it, the vehicle we know now as the xB is done. It will be replaced by something else....presumably with something "boxy" I guess.

From the get-go, Toyota said each vehicle would only have a 3 model year shelf life.

So if you like the way the xB looks now, you better jump on one soon.....if you want a new one, that is.

I heard it was getting an extra year while the finalize the plans for the newer model, but I guess that's wrong.

 

Has the current body style totally stopped production? I know the "new" bodystyle went on sale in January in Japan, but is the old one still lumbering on at another factory? I was under the impression that this was the end of "our" bodystyle.

 

Same question here. Any insight as to how much longer the 06 xB's will be produced? I've got an '05 with 40,000 miles and want to get an '06 before they stop them. Can't decide whether to go ahead now or wait and see if the RS4 materializes.

 

Hopefully the RS4 will be produced before they cease production of the xB.

i thought that was just a concept model, i remember seeing somewhere that the new '07 were longer, like an extended version.

The replacement for the xB will be along next spring... April is the current goal. Until then, we will continue to have the current style xB. That means the '06 model year will be VERY long and may actually run into 2007. Its happened before with Toyota. The '96 Landcruiser had the same situation.

 

Agreed. I think we'll have an '07 then an early intro on the new model for '08.
