Default 103 degree heat = No springs install for me

Seriously, it's so hot but I want my springs on bad! I was going to tackle this myself but I don't want to spend all day outside today. Might have to recruit some buddies to help out. Hopefully it won't take more than a few hours to get done but we only have hand tools. CHeck out the weather below for my area. Crazy heat!

Clearly, you should be doing your work at night.

The rears should take you just a few mins you just lfit the car really high and get a bar to put pressure on the arm and the spring comes right out.the front take them out and do the spring exchange in your house should take you all about 1-2 hrs tops

Good suggestions, thanks guys. I have some spring compressors I rented from AutoZone (for free! thanks autozone) and I'll be doing this install tomorrow night after work, so around 6:30pm or so. Still will be warm out but if it is still too hot outside, i'll take the fronts inside where it's cool. I'll post up some pics when I'm done! Here's a before pic of the box. Can't wait!

good luck

here is a tip for removing the rear springs... put your spring compressor on the rear springs while they are still compressed (car weight)
then when you jack the box up from the frame rail..the spring will just about fall out of there on it's own

do you follow, or need further explaination?

Alright guys, i took everyone's tips on here and the car is now lowered! Sweet! Took me and a friend just over 2 hours, partly cause we screwed up and had to go backwards a bit LOL! Wasted like 30 mins but oh well, we got it done. I'll get some pics in the next couple of days. The Sprint springs look and feel great. I'm very happy with them so far. Again, thanks for everyone's help!

it's possible to do the springs w/out the alignment..but unlikely on your first spring job..
you will be much happier once you get it aligned
