17" wheels ans 2" Drop

Do I need to worry about tires (205/40's) rubbing with a 2" drop? Thanks!

No problems but i would run a 215/40 so you get a thicker sidewall and wider tire. Just my 2 cents

I agree with BOXMAN on this one. Definitely go with the 215 rather than 205. Just in case you like to park very very close to curbs your chance of curbage on your rims drops a little with wider tires.

I run 17s with a 2 inch drop and 215/40s

The set up we have is 17 x 7 with 40 offest and a 2" Gold-Line drop with 215/40/17. Absolutely no rubbing and excellent ride quality. I prefer the 215 series over the 205. Good luck and I hope this helps.
