As mentioned, a title will never reference a".5" designation, only full years. Those are terms usually coined by owners (or enthusiasts, as the case may be) to denote actual production differences between cars of the same model year.
Based on the above descriptions, I guess mine (bought 8/06) falls under the 2006.5 category...who says you can't learn something new every day!

As other's have said: the 2006.5 phrase was coined by the owners to distinguish which car we're talking about.
There are several electical differences beteween those 2 versions. Mostly in the airbag/seat belt tensioner circuitry. 06.5 has "smart" airbags.
The wiring diagram and service manuals have separate sections to cover all the systems which are different between those two production runs.
