So I got my first crack today in the box. Right behind the speedo and is a long curving crack. I went to the website about the settlement and new warranties and whatnot and I am confused as to what to do. I have 53K miles so I am under the 60K warranty. Do I just go to Toyota and they will replace it for free or what? I need advice, thanks!

 

If its a result of an impact its not covered, best bet take it to the dealer and ask.

I got a chip on mine the first week I had it. Luckily a $12 kit patched it up from turning into a crack. There seems to be a lot of cracked windshields on XB's, but I haven't had anymore problems since luckily. I don't even remember what exactly chipped mine, but I remember hearing something, and then 10 minutes later I noticed the chip on my passenger side!

 

Yeah my main concern is if the dealer plays dumb and doesn't know about this settlement and stuff. What do I need to do if that happens?
