Default 2006 Polar White xB, Walk In -> Drive Out, Yesterday! *pi

Thats my gf new xB.

She was very excited until just now when she came back from work. I noticed the rear right tire is smoking.

I guess its caused by the tire somehow been rubbing against the car itself. Tire is burning too, seems like a real trouble! Called salesperson, will have someone pick it up tomorrow! Urgh

haha, i actually agree with that. most of the few girls that used to be into cars were either fat or ugly, or a combination. times have truly changed

I've asked several of my female friends what they think of the xB and they all said they dislike it, but when I've shown them pics of the xB in pure white, their responses are completely the opposite. I like it best in white as well, something about it makes it look different than it does in the colors.

Congrats on the purchase... good luck with Toyota's ____ poor white paint. Give it about 2000 miles then look at your rear bumper... you're in for a treat.

I'm curious now what is wrong w/ Toyota's white paint? Please PM me a response if its not appropriate for the post.

BTW, nice xB! I would recommend a good wash/wax to keep that beautiful white as white as possible.

Will do definitely! But friends told me not to wax your car so soon after you got the car. Some told me at least 6months to a year before you start waxing!

I think I took delivery of my car with some type of wax already on it as water beaded up but I wanted to make sure.

The normal paint curing period shouldn't be necessary on factory paint like it may on repairs.

I hope waiting 6 months to a year isn't necessary cause if it is, to late for my xB.

I hit up the hatch with wax the day after I bought the car. Does not seem to be a problem. I dont see why you could not.
