Reason: Misspelled
I suppose it depends upon condition. Get PPI from competent mechanic, inspect:
- maintenance records, what has or hasn't been done on schedule
- compression test
- brakes
- tyres
- suspension bushings
- dampers
These can cost you extra thou$ands if needed.
I got my 2004 w/180K-miles about 10-yrs ago for $2500. It had AC problems that costed me $1500 and still wasn't ever resolved. Also had gas-filler problem that shut off pump and needed restart 5x per fill. Annoying. Needed brakes and tyres, another $1000. Sold it after 5-yrs.
Then got 2005 w/145K-miles for $3500. In better shape, AC cold, gas filler works. Still have it today @ 180K-miles. Replaced tyres, brakes and dampers in that time. Got some wheels too.

Great since you seem so honest and know every mistake one could possibly have lol. What would you sell your current one for being zero issues like the one I mentioned. Being you know the issues with yours , you had to sell today , how much? Because the one I mentioned is even better so curious . Thanks

Seems like a pretty subjective comment not knowing anything about the other xB outside of what's been mentioned.
Might help to give some kind of context and list what the seller is asking for it, unless you're the seller in which case you can ask whatever you want for it.
Any chance you went on KBB, Autotrader, NADA, eBay, local sales, etc. to look at what others have been listed at or sold for?
I'd start with some simple research there as a good portion of it is going to be based on location...one plus is it's a manual, which most people won't want, but those who do are likely to pay more for it, which is what I did because I wanted a manual.
Yes checked all those sites and kbb, but asking a dedicated group seems like that’s where the experts would chime in. I’m smart. I know what it’s worth lol, just I see people are afraid to compliment and be honest. They don’t play diamond in the rough.
I would probably sell it for $3500-4000. Everything works, all maintenance up to date, no problems whatsoever. I would prefer manual, but my wife doesn't.
Seems like you're asking for an answer to a question to which you already feel you have the answer. I'm curious, what's the point?

Compliment what, "Hey, nice looking silver xB," there you go. And what are you even talking about, "diamond in the rough?" You're claim is it's in far better shape and have inferred it's worth much more than that of @DannoXYZ , which makes your diamond in the rough comment just that much more confusing and completely inappropriate in the context in which you've surrounded it.
If I were a betting man I'd say it's yours and you're trying to 'advertise' it while bypassing the rules and requirements for posting classifieds on here. How far off am I?

did you wind up selling it? for how much? I paid $5,500 recently for a near mint 06 green xb, 107k miles, 5spd. the interior looks like it was almost never used hah. it's been repainted but runs like a top. asking was $6,500 but i brought it down. came with rims, tow hitch, its lowered, xb door sills, vent visors, factory upgraded shift **** and other small things. i am the third owner, it's still on original clutch too and works like it's brand new. ac heat wipers spray nozzles etc everything works beautifully.

Hi, which tow hitch do you have? I got a Curt hitch and it bumps into muffler. Thinking about just denting in muffler 1/2" where it touches. But if there's different one that doesn't interfere, I'll get that one.
