2006 xB changes
I talked with my local dealer, as far as they know the 2006 xB model will be similar except they also confirmed the rumor (that they heard it's a possibility) of having curtain airbags. They also confirmed xB would be available through 2007.
Anyway, does anyone have any more rumors or concrete information? Basically I want an xB now but am considering waiting until the 2006 models roll out to order mine. If you have any info, thanks!

Welp, here is some decent potential for the Porte.
I think it doesn't look too half bad.

I do know, Modellista has a decent kit for it as well :D
I'd take one to put around in.. and I think its trick to have sliding doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**EDIT**: door, not plural.. lmao!
and also, it comes stock with either a 1.3L or 1.5L, I'm thinking it shares the same 1NZ-FE setups the bB and IST do in Japan which ain't bad :D

Haha, you guys, this kinda got off topic. Thanks for the info though. Actually I was thinking about the discontinuation of the xB; it could be a good thing right? Obviously theres something special about this car and maybe it would create a demand for them if they stopped making them.
Any other rumors of changes for the '06 xB, or thoughts on waiting to get an '06, let me know!

goddamn... the general public would just think its a flop or something.. and then immeadiately think of the "AZTEC" good god, THAT was a horrible design, HAD ALMOST no interest from the public, THEREFORE it got yanked from the production line.
ON the other hand, the xB has been REMARKABLE with sales, as well as the xA.. I think it would be a REALLY stupid 'concept' , if you wanna call it that, to 'discontinue production of the xB in the states..'
HONESTLY, I'd say they just carry on with new models, and start Scion off on the right foot, and keep a product line going... jeez... I don't want Scion to be a 3 car deal, that'd be g*y.

Hahaha, my industrial design professor designed the Aztec when she worked for GM. she says the engineers messed it up, I've seen her drawings, they are okay. We all make fun of her for it though.

cool, good for her :D
Did you know my father worked on the team which designed the interior/exterior of the Mazda RX-8?
It was an international team, from Japan and the US. They had an 8week session here in the states, and a 12week in Japan.
Just to brag a lil'
