too late. I had already paid for the scion armrest before I read about the Zeta one. I'll see how it goes, if it's too bad i'll sell it and buy the Zeta.

1. Two more layers of clear coat, or another layer of paint.
2. 2zz motor with a different transmission than the celica came with
3. Bring the awd option over here.
4. 200-300lbs lighter

Even with a completely new drivetrain for the 2zz to support awd, better paint, it would still be under $20,000.

As standard:
(1) Better interior lighting (front, center, rear). *
(2) Additional sound deadening.
As dealer/port options:
(3) Cruise control.

*Or at least as good as the xA...

One and two should be able to be done without tremendous additional cost, three is just a sensible thing to have available as a factory backed option.

1. 50% more horsepower. I wouldn't care if it came from a turbo, a different motor or pixie dust.

2. Better gearing for the manual. (My wife owns an xB, but I am seriously considering getting an '06 manual.)

3. Better Paint.

Easily worth another $1000 on the sticker. And for those that didn't want more horsepower at a higher cost they could have the current 1.5 as the base motor.

1. Must refer to the automatic. My 5-speed can accelerate from 60 mph pretty quick in 5th gear up any Interstate hill around here. 5th gear is perfectly spaced from 4th. A 6th gear would be nice but only expensive cars have that.

2. At 60 mph with the trunk full of overnight and duffel bags, my xB is whisper quiet. I guess sound deadening would do the same thing.

3. My Zeta Generation 2 storage armrest looks and works great, and takes 5 minutes to install.

4. Cruise is offered by the dealer, but my tall knees would hit the stalk. Needs to be on the steering wheel.

5. I think my Webasto aftermarket sunroof at $1200 may be better than the factory sunroof in my relative's xA Release 1.0. That sunroof has chafed the red paint off the edges of the opening. The only disadvantate of the aftermarket sunroof is the loss of the rigid headliner, for a stretched fabric headliner.

Doors that split open. You can just open window not entire hatch.

You need to raise the front of your seat with some spacers and longer bolts . It does wonders for making the seats 100% more comfortable. I raised mine 3/4's of an inch.

It is funny reading all the stuff people want on their xBs. Most can be added but some should have NEVER been standard like...

1. Rear Wiper. (what a joke . I get a STANDARD FEAKIN HOLE in my rear hatch Thanks, Scion Biatches) Waste of money by Scion

2. Fog Light Holes in my bumper. (Make the holes a removable cutout for those that want fogs in that bad location)

3. Tilt Steering Wheel. Seriously, does anyone ever really use this item??? Mine stays down (if you can call it that) all the time.

I feel they could have lost these items and gave us better stuff like...

1. Telescopic Steering Wheel.

2. Factory console/armrest

3. About 30 More Horses under the hood.

What did you use for spacers? A stack of washers, or is there something like a solid cylinder that is better?

6th gear or re-geared for highway (manual)
tailgate window either rolls down or opens seperately
cruise control integrated into stearing wheel
tilt stearing wheel (just doesn't go down enough for me)

Washers work fine. Once you get the amount that feel best you can wrap them with black tape to hold em together. Or a solid one is fine too.

Pretty much what Tomas said:
(1) Better interior lighting (front, center, rear).
(2) Additional sound deadening.
As dealer/port options:
(3) Cruise control.
And while I'm being greedy, I'd sure like better lighting in the console. None of the controls to the left of the steering wheel light up (including the lighting controls!); and lights in the easy-bake and the glovebox would sure be swell.

Oh yeah - and softer rear shocks.
