Default 3sgte box?

anyone interested in putting up a donor car for a 3sgte transplant? someone had a topic under mine about a rotery engine but why not keep a toyota engine in it? i own a 06 xb and also a 92 celica 3sgte. i know it can be done. if someone has the cash to do it, we would love to be the ones to build it. my email is admin@tiecc.net. check out some of our rides on www.tiecc.net

.....ok then.... why don't you hack up YOUR xB then... seems ya got all the parts there for it.

You're gonna have a hell of a time convincing someone to PAY to have a yet unproven transplant done on thier car - your shop may wanna consider a sponsorship of some kind - or better yet - prove it's viable first on YOUR car.

Too much fabrication in my opinion. I wonder how much cutting into the firewall alone to get that thing to fit. Not to mention how much weight itll add as well as ruining the weigiht distribution.

Other then that, i'd love to see it. If you can even have the AWD tranny work with it, that'll be some siik ___ xB.

have u compared the 3sgte size and the xb's engine compartment size? yeah not going to be easy at all.

if you can get it to keep all smog parts and find one from a 2005 and newer vehicle i'll do it.

yea it will add weight... but it will also double the horsepower... u can use 90-99 mr2 trans for fwd application.

3sgte ran 2nd and 3rd gen from 90-99... they are still used in the alteza (JDM is300) but they are 3sge non turbo and rwd... that would be awsome. drifting box i am going to do some measuring today and see how much of what we would need to cut...

my xb is actually my wife's... its like the family minivan i guess... i was talking about doing it as a sponsorship... just pay for parts... when it is done, there will be so much advertising on that car. also we would have to throw some vert doors on it too (also free)

Cool idea and good luck with finding a donor xB. That would be awesome to see happen. Too bad that combo wouldn't pass smog in Cali.....
