I have had mine for a little over 2 months now. Got it when I was 20, now 21. So looking at the poll 10% of the SLers are in my age group.

 

34 in Dec

3 kids, 12, 11, 8 oh.... and 1 on the way

 

18 when bought it 19 now

I'm 39! However due to the fact that women never go past 39 I will never go into the next age bracket. Hubby is 42, likes my XB, but he has a Hemi Ram, he needs power!

 

OMG... my last 3/4 tank was $50 and that was at 2.99. It's gone up a LOT since then.

I use the xB for my side business (photography).... I ride a motorcycle every day for my regular transportation.

 

39 soon to be 40, Love the xB!! Got 2 kids and the wife is 37. The kids are 8 and 5, they are crazy about the box car. That is their name for it. My 5yr old son names all our cars, the xB is box car and the Honduh CRV is bye bye.

The xB is mine to drive daily and weekends and all occasions. We use to drive the Crv all the time, now the kids beg to ride in box car. LOL

At this point I am in the majority at 39!!!!
Never thought I would see that.
I drive the TCM xB while the 4x4 suburban sits in the driveway. Another guy in my neghborhood has a big lifted truck too and an xB as his daily.

Planning on getting the wife one too.

 

I am very surprised to see my age group, 38, is the majority so far. Most people I tell that we are waiting for ours to arrrive seem to think these are for the "under 30" crowd. You guys proved them wrong. I'll point them to this thread. I can't wait to get ours.

 

I have to assume that, as a whole, the majority buying group for this product is way outside of that which the Toyota marketing department assumed would be interested.

The marketing stats I saw said that the xA would outsell the xB 2 to 1 and the age group for both would be predominantly 18 to 25. From the actual results they find that the xB outsells the xA by 2 to 1 and better than half of the buyers are 35+. I guess it's probably a good thing they got it wrong. At least we know that they did not depend on GM for design and product ideas.
