Default AHHHH!!! Airbag light staying on!!!

Ok so my search is not turning up anything useful. My airbag light is coming on and its staying on solid. The dealer won't be able to look at it until next Tuesday!! AHHHH!! I haven't been in any accident's and theres only 2950 miles on my box! Has this happened to anyone else? If so what could be the problem?????????

have you removed the steering wheel at all or messed with the abs sensor? try ecu reset - disconnect battery for a min.. or look in tech section for "ecu reset w/o disconnecting battery"
maybe that will help?

ok, i tried resetting the ECU. I disconnected the battery cleaned my apartment then reconnected. nothing happened! and I know it worked because I had to reset my clock and radio presets! this is really bugging me and it makes me mad that the dealership can't look at it sooner! The manual says if it comes on "take to scion dealer immediately". next tuesday isn't quite immediate! so if anyone has any idea why it would come on that would really help! even if theres nothing i can do to reset it, i would just like to know why it would come on. again i haven't taken anything apart, no accidents, and it's still only got 3k miles on it!

It won't hurt to drive like that. Just be patient and let the dealer deal with it on tues. no biggie, prolly just a bad sensor.

Could be as simple as a lose connector under one of the seats. I haven't had the problem, but it should be a simple one that they can take care of easily. If not, you should get a loaner until they can fix it.

Let us know what they find!

ok so tomorrow is the big day I find out what's going on. I did a visual inspection under the seats, I saw a connecter that looked to be intact, no frays or cuts in the wire. I live in the middle of the city and it's not uncommon for unreported parallel parking accidents (grrr..that's another story ) so I did a visual inspection on the front end. Doesn't look like anyone bumped into me (no dents or paint smears etc). Ugh this is so frustrating, it's the first brand new car I've ever had and I hate driving around with indicator lights on! oh well hopefully it's something simple the dealer can take care of right away! I'll keep you all informed

put a piece of black electrical tape over the light till you get into the dealer.

^ lol that's funny you say that because I put my Scion fuzzy dice in front of the panel so it would block my view of the light

Ok I finally have the time to post. Tomas you called it! It was a loose connection at "pin 21B". Lucky for me Victor (TopDog) was there and got me rolling! They even replaced my LED's because they were out on the passenger side!
