will a + 23 offset work on our xb

work perfectly on scion without modification! well...also depends on the width

matt has +25 offset looks perfect flush in the front...

18x8 with 23mm offset will work. If you go with the wider rim like 18x9 or 18x8.5, you will need to do some fender rollin'.

Like Roger said, it also depends on the width. Take a 7" wide wheel for example... You'll probably need an offset below the 20's to get it totally flush. I'm still thinking anything in the 20's offset range is still too conservative. Again, it also depends on the width and what your goal is!

what is fender rolling
It's basically the process of pushing the inside lip of the fender up... the goal being to gain more wheel/tire clearence.. and reduce (if not) eliminate rubbing issues.
