Default Any news on a rear disc conversion?

I know it's not TOTALLY necessary as there isnt' a lot of weight to stop, but out of convenience I would prefer some disc's in the back.

Has anyone heard anything about a conversion and/or other Toyota parts that would bolt up?

Same here, I just don't like drums at all, I'd love to have 4 wheel discs, even just for looks, with some nice Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors.

Yeah there are 2 out now

Check out these likns for more

https://www.scionlife.com/store/catBraking.php

Theres some of the brake kits that Scionlife offer. The willwood is a good buy for the money..... I dont have a brake kit.... never found the need for 1 yet but i did get theperformance rotors and pads. Those work great. Quite honestly i dont really recomend wasting your money on the brake kit bieng about $2000 buy if you want to race your XB i would understand..... Hope this helps

Those are all front Disc Upgrades, not Rear Disc Conversions, but thanks for the link & info.

plus if done right (and not by greedy people), it shouldn't cost >$800.

weight has nothing to with it. tractor trailers use drum brakes and they are way heavier than any bulk-buy wharehouse shopping i'll do.

but i agree i want the clean look of 4 wheel disk. :D :D
i was at a friends over the weekend and saw one kit that has the e-brake conversion for the rear, but i don't recall the site off-hand. sorry

Ah, good point. I guess it's more towards the performance of brakin' when discs come into play.

you guys know that slopoke21m made his own rear disc right? He used the set-up from a 88 toyota corolla GT-S, but he had to make some modifications. :D
