Yeah, so the subject says it........

WCC does great work, but i'm sure their prices are WAY jacked up due to their success on MTV and their coming realiity tv show on what-ever channel it is.

Anyways, i work for a mortgage company doing tech support, and will be switching to sales in jan or so of next year. I figure i'll make a good 5-20k per month, so i figured..........ive had my 04 xb for 2 1/2 years, it's got a few mods but nothing fancy.

Heres what i want to do, HOPEFULLY for less than 10-15k....preferably at one place too, mainly because i'm busy and lazy, haha:
I"ve got a black xb, 2004, heres what i'd LIKE to do, assuming all goes well with my mortgage job:

Turbo
Not sure what kind of drop now, but on trd drop now, 1 1/2 inches..want more of a drop
HID Conversion with projectors
18-19" wheels, not sure what kind yet
in dash navi
leather or leatherette seats, front and back
body kit (still not sure what kind yet)
carbon fiber hood, and possibly fab wing
Window Visors (essam?)
Anything else that's kick ___ on a black xb

I'm sure there are a few more things i want to do, just typing this all now and didnt pull up my 'Mental list'.

So yeah, know any places that do all this stuff, and dont charge an arm and a leg like WCC?

Thanks :-)

I'm just trying to figure out why you said how much money you plan/hope to make. What does that have to do with where you go?

That was pretty funny. I just love it when people think they can ACTUALLY make that much $$$$$ a month.

On a serious note, what you want to do shouldn't be that hard for a decent shop, however if I was you making 20k a month, (Im sorry, i couldnt help myself) I wouldn't be trying to get it done all 1 shop. I would go to a place that specializes in Car Audio, and then a place that specializes in Custom Interiors. Call up a local dealership, (Toyota, Nissan, Honda) and ask who they use for interior work. I work at a company that does a little bit of everything, BUT we specialize in vehicle graphics (We have a contract with the surrounding counties police and ems departments) and window tint.

currently i have

vent visors, 18 inch lexani wheels, air ride suspension *dont know if thats what you mean* and air gauges, sonar projectors, oznium flowlighting 8000k hids, fabulous kit *changing to noblesse, buy qaulity not popularity!*, flip down tv with playstion, tyc tails, intake header exhaust, subs n amp. and ive doen it all myself... so dont be afraid to ask for help if you wanna do it all yourself.

WCC... lol... I was big into the custom truck scene when they first hit. When it was just Ryan and a couple other guys. They were over priced back then. And that was before they did the first vehicle for Shaq. Then all the famous rappers and ballers started going to that shop, and their prices got even worse.

Bottom line, don't waste your time with WCC. There are tons of good shops in Southern California that can do whatever you need. Attend some local car shows and ask people who did the work for them. And you'll be way better off having different shops work on their specialty. Every few years another SoCal shop gets "too big for their britches" and tries to become an all in one shop. Each time it happens the reputation goes to crap, quality declines, and the only people there with talent scatter like rats on sinking ship.

the mortgage buisness is going downhill, witht he rates raising and millions have already refi'd. congrats if you actually make that much, but dont bank on what some loan officers say. being a collection manager ive seen the amount of people refinance sharply drop and have known lots of people that were collectors go do mortgages to come back 2-6 months later because its not as good as people say

Not bad, a friend of mine just cleared the 15k mark for this month (with our company, the month end for commission is on the 15th)..shes got a few more loans that might close soon, if she can close one more on mon or tuesday she might make 18k this month, but 15k already guaranteed...........thats just some info for those drinkin haterade, lol

Sales is def a good way to make ALOT of money...one lady i know made 42k one month, that was her highest ever, however, she currently makes about 20 k on AVERAGE per month due to her referrals from other customers and what not....with the mortgage indudstry you can make as much as you want, just depends how hard you're willing to work.
