to be honest. i really don't have too many issue's with the new tC. while the pictures from the exterior haven't impressed me. it isn't terrible. the angle of rooflines look kind of questionable, but i initially thought all the first gen scions looked strange in pictures, they look better in person, so i'll wait until i actually see a new tC to decide on appearance.

the rest is give and take. tC owner's have constantly whined for more performance and a 6 speed manual and more MPG, so here is the second gen tC with...bigger enginemore power, sport tuned suspension, bigger brakes, and a 6 speed manual OR AUTOMATIC, and better MPG. on the con side, the interior looks considerably lower rent than the current tC, but i think it was give and take to try and meet a certain price point and give you more in some areas and less in the others. besides, interiors are easy to upgrade and customize to your hearts desire. so if the interior isn't to you liking...DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT YOURSELF!

i'm not being a scion nut hugger or a brand loyalist, just saying people need to shut up and realize scion did listen to what current owners were asking for and gave you what they could.

if you said the FUSE concept looked cool, then you said you wanted a rear that looks like that.

We like it because it looks like much less of a chick car!
180 hp is good for the money. 6 speed, naiceeee.
The tC is so common at my college it almost outnumbers Cavaliers! And mostly girls are driving them for certain.

The xB was a much much worse first redesign. This tC one is good.

Whoever said sticky gas pedals, how many people have really had this happen? The person probably hit the wrong pedal, people aren't too intelligent these days.

Go Toyota and Scion!

Wow, somehow I knew this was going to turn into a thread about the tC2 itself, and not the initial topic. There's already a thread to comment on the new design, two actually.

I made this mainly as a lighthearted post about current tC owners reactions to the new design, not a direct critique on the design itself. I just thought it a bit funny a lot of what I read was the same thing we said about the xB2 when it came out, without much sympathy from the tC crowd.

i thought it was a 2 door Charger at first glance but that was scanning from back to front.

Couldn't be a charger... chargers are hella boxy... almost more boxy than the box.

It is barely a redesign, more like an "update" hahaha.

Our xB got overhauled (made into a fat Camry) so we had room to complain.
