i had both front doors windows rolled down half way and when i closed thecdriver side door the glass window shook like it was loose and same thing with the passenger side. weird though since i have no problems while rolling them up or down. and i don't slam the doors either. while i'm driving it happens as well when i hit bumps and small pits. annoying since it's kinda loud. anyone else experience this or is their windows tight even when rolled down some?

 

yea, when i shut the door. makes me not keep too much faith in them like that. not when i hit road bumps, only when the door shuts

 

ah okay. i'm not alone then. just one of the quirks of the xb i guess hehe.

 

a defect I've recently noticied, no matter if the windows are down an inch or halfway, they rattle like my 23 year old cars do

 

all about saving money guys. it's normal even in midline cars. let alone bottom of the crap heap bargain mobiles no matter how awesomely styled they are. lol.

 

My WRX did the same thing when partially rolled down. My buddy's Evo 8 MR does the same. I've learned to shut the door carefully when the window is down -- that is, maneuver the door so that the latches touch and give it a good shove. It only takes one second extra to shut it with care, but the prevention could save a broken window motor or mechanism.

thing was a damn tank the xB does it but ive just learned to be careful about it all

 

you should here mine rattle when im jamming out, im afraid they are just going to fall out! not that my system is loud or anything, but yeah they rattle.

 

I can't stand that rattle either, so they are either up or all the way down.

I noticed this last week. Had the rear windows 1/2 way down and this crazy vibration sound and feeling went through me. Very odd sound!

 

My Previa did this. So did my 'Van'. So does my mom's Windstar. The 'clank!' is always such a wince-inducer.

 

Get the same noise as I shut the door, no sounds while driving, however. It's becoming a trend in newer cars apparently. My dad owns a 93 Toyota Camry and you can damn near throw the door closed with its windows midway down without a shake/rattle or sound. The Scioncar line is Cost effective production at its best Except for maybe a Focus.

i speant 38 grand on mine so the windows r a big prob. but as was said before learned to close softly but my friends slam it like there civics. oh well it will be fixed soon

haha no gold, i just got the showroom model that was going to be used for a show, had all kinds of dealer installed extras. love the leather!
