Default anyone get any discount at all on a xB in or around Texas?

I'm familar with PURE PRICING, but i heard some dealers actually DO discount them....and it'd be worthwhile for me to fly over and get one with a discount (I have enuff freq flyer points to fly anywhere in the US).

TIA guys!

He already said "hes familiar with PURE PRICING." He does not want a lecture on it, nor does he want some ___ telling him that's waht he needs to do. Back on topic - The best way to get deals is through Pre-Owned Certified Toyotas (scions) at the dealership, unless you were to find someone selling their xb. Otherwise, most dealerships try to sell used xb's as high as 18 grand, with no mods on them As for new Scions being priced for cheap, good luck; i tried to get dealers to put the prices down and they said "for every scion we sell without pure pricing, two get taken away from the next shipment." So basically, you wont be able to find a new, cheaper scion.

What i did however was search around for a good dealership. Here in california i bought from longo, the best toyota dealership in the world. I bought from them because they were selling the xbs for almost 1500 less than other dealerships; mainly because they sell nearly 100 cars a day, so they can do what they want. If you do end up going through longo pm me (as i believe there are customer referrals). Good luck.

You might get a deal on a used Scion, but how good a deal do you need, this is a $13-14k car. Either you can afford it, or you can't.

A Scion dealership is not the place to go if you are one of those people who will nickel and dime the dealer to death and then feel victorious because they throw in some free floor mats or something.

Sorry to be blunt, but the whole point of the pricing scheme is the ACTUALLY do give you the lowest price they are allowed to right up front. This is not business as usual, like at a regular dealer where you can squeeze an extra $49 off the price if you're persistent.

NO DEALER can give "special deals" on NEW Scions, unless they don't plan on being in business long, because Toyota will revoke their right to sell the cars if they dick around with the price. Thats the whole point man. Maybe they will give you 3 free oil changes or some fake carbon fiber piece of crap from the Scion gift shop, but that's it.

If you really must have a deal, buy used I guess, but personally I think that is stupid since these cars sell for about the same or even more used than they do new and you then have to haggle with a slimy salesmen instead of buying your car in about an hour with no headaches.

$14k car man. There is no need to look for the bargain there, it is a bargain already. What more do you want?

That is funny, I just checked out their website and the posted prices there are the same as ours except for the delivery fee being $70 higher int he Gulf States region. In fact, our TFS Finance rates are better here than there by over .5%.

Any way, BAGWELL, if you are interested in an xB our dealer is located here in Houston. I am about the only dealer in town that posts up here on Scionlife, I guess cause I actually own one and since I help organize a lot of the Scion events around town, I have to keep in touch with everyone. Not to mention, its one of the best most diverse boards around(over 13K registered users)

Feel free to PM if you would like some info about our dealership.

Good luck in finding the vehicle you want, whatever you end up paying for it, it is worth the money.
