Anyone get challenged while driving peacefuly?
Driving down the road, seems some hot drivers with 'Stangs, Hondas, suped up imports, etc, come up behind me , check me out, swing around the side for a few seconds, ram up their engines, (I guess they are trying to challenge me and my 90 HP box), and WHAM, they take off and leave me in the dust, hell, even some bikers do that to me!.....I just keep chuggling along at normal speed.

I have similar issues, but it's usually after I pass someone. They get all "How can that Box pass me" so they jump on the gas, do some stupid lane changes and get ahead of me for a few seconds and they are all proud of themselves and then let off the gas or get stuck behind someone cuz they weren't watching well enough. Because I'm racing the clock and not them, I usually end up leaving them behind. I Always say "It's the Tortoise and the Hare, baBy" You guys do remember who won THAT race right? I can usually even pick out the cars that will do it as I'm coming up on a pack. I also call it "their wake-up call" hehehe since they were just snoozin' in traffic until I showed up...
Lately, when I've left work late and the traffic is lighter, I've been dicing it up with some motorcycles. They'll get the advantage when traffic gets thick but then I catch up on the open stretches.
It's funny how some people can be cool about it, we'll let each other in, give a salute as we part ways etc. as long as we're both making time and then there's others who are all antagonistic and will cut you off and give you hard looks or won't look at all. Those are the ones with issues...

Its funny man. It seems like just because you have done a few mods, rock a nice set of wheels on a car thats a bit different, jerkoffs automatically think you want to race. Case in point..... I was a light this morning and an eclipse rolled right up to me, looked over at me and when the light turned green he gave it his all. Me on the other hand just let the 108 hp beast of an automobile cruz along with no worries.

Yes...I thought I'd left that kinda crap behind when I sold my integra, but I guess since my Xb is YELLOW it offends some people. I do laugh when people "try" to race me. I just let them go and shake my head...morons.

My problem is that I don't tailgate to avoid rock chips so I get allot of cutting in front of me. It's somewhat satisfying though when they put themselves between me and a dump or cement truck.

Dude! I totally understand, and agree with you.It happens all the time. I'm like wtf? Since my ride turns all the heads, they feel like they need to show me what their car "has" that makes it better.
I've even had a tC or two do it to me...
I'm not a racer fellas. I like to cruise. If your car is faster, I don't care, stop trying to impress me

a group of guys in a Tercel tried to race me, but i just ignored them. we were on the traffic light and the Tercel kept revving the engine. i was like WTF? just hearing the Tercel peeling off made me laugh do you think its a fair race if i was going to race him?
