Does anyone have this intake or know someone who does? If so how is it?

I know that's why I'm asking? I want to know how it looks and performs.

in my opinion since the intake is a pretty vital part of the engine its best not to skimp on quality here if you hve to spend a few more bucks to get something that has some research behind it or at least that has been out for a while and proven itself, do so.

I don't, but it looks like a injen knock off... The real injen doesn't fix on the xA, though...

Default I have it...

I have this intake. Sounds good and does give a little bit of a performance increase. I haven't gotten out to the dyno yet. I also have a catback and am getting headers and a high flow cat. The tube is of a better quality than I have seen on most. The filter can be changed out to what ever you want. My brother just got back from Japan and said there are a lot of these aftermarket parts we don't get to see over here.
I have put intakes on my past few cars 3000 twin turbo, Dakota R/T 360 and the performance increase depends on the other mods you do. If you do just the intake you might notice the sound increase and a little performance. But the key is to let the air flow all the way through. But not too much. You need some back pressure. Being that these are 1.5s I'm not even looking at speeds like my 3000 or R/T.

I'm not really looking for much power increase from any intake. I was just wondering about the quality of the intake. Thanks for your response. I knew someone here had to have it, because the guy said he's sold quite alot of them.

So Matchbox you are happy with it?

Default Intake

Yes it serves its purpose. Also , the polished finish looks great. If you do an intake you will more than likely want to do an exhaust system. I would suggest a true catback as opposed to a axle back. I put a catback on for around $150 installed and tax ,out here in North Carolina. I have an exhaust guy who I have worked with for the past few years and he gives me killer deals. He will do a high flow cat run all the way to the flang on my aftermarket header for $150. I talked to Gabe ( Stylus ) and I know they are much higher in Cali.

Yeah I'm planning on doing the entire exhaust from headers down. Wow those prices are great down here I got a quote for just a muffler and it was like $170 installed. Anyways thanks for the info on the intake.
