Why dont I help you out here.

First you can to Desert and Salt and ask that question. Done 30 or so boxes in the area.

Second you can visit our site and check out all the cars we have there.

http://www.rockblocker.net/product-install.htm

Third - we are working on a trip to come back up the NW (hometown) for a group install weekend. If you are interested let us know.

Fourth - We are running a sale THIS weekend only for paint protection in the commerce section.

Have a great weekend

my only concern with the rockblocker kit is that if you hand wax the car are you going to notice wax lines on the edge of the clear rockblocker bra?

this is the one thing that would disuade me from purchasing.

I've got the clear stuff on the top my rear bumper and you have to use an old toothbrush to remove the wax around the edges.

IF you get wax along the edge of the film you should use a microfiber towel and rubbing alcohol to gently rub the wax off. Using things like a toothbrush can scratch your paint.

From five feet away or behind the driver seat you dont see the line, but you will always know you have rock chips. Not to mention your vehicle is the same as everyone elses when trading it in.

To each their own.

Using alcohol kinda defeats the purpose for waxing.
Don't know about you... But in 20 years of doing showcars I have yet to scratch paint with a toothbrush. Please stop spreading falsities.

If you want to tell people to use a toothbrush that is all good, but the last thing we are doing is spreading falsities. I dont think the average Joe will be able to use a toothbrush to remove the wax along the product without scratching since I see it all the time. I ran five detail shops in my past and know an awful lot about detailing and what the average consumer can do and not do.

We didnt recommend using alcohol all over the whole car just the area where the wax has collected on along the edge. That is what you use to install the film (alcohol). We are only recommended what to do. Consumers may do as they wish.
