just thaught of somehting, it might be the switch that turns on the A/C compressor, move the **** for the different modes and see if it makes contact when you put it in the defrost mode, that could be it

It is a micro switch and the cam to the left will turn it on and off so you just have to figure out that cam and what makes it move like the fan speed control or the temp switch. You could also disconnect it and see what doesn't work. I would like to override the fan needing to be on to get the A/C to run because at highway speeds there is no need to run the fan unless you are recirculate.

No, I think you're right. That's what the flux capacitor actually looks like.

Dude . . . Seriously. Everyone knows that's not the flux capacitor. It's the redundant heat sensor for the flux capacitor.

Are you referring to the unsed electrical circuit plug? If so that might be a question for the service dept. or the service manual.
I think it might have only been used on the bB for something to do with the climate control.

So basically this topic is being turned into a joke? Why ask about something if you are not serious about wanting to know?

Lighten up. Even the one asking the question is having fun with it. And I would say there's a good balance of serious and silly. It's a fun thread.
