When scion.com came out the 06's there was audio controls on the xb now though they have took away the controls. People with the 06 xb is there controls or not Thanks

Maybe the audio controls are coming out later when the new colors come

 

I have a tc and I push the audio control buttons expecially when I'm turning a corner........... it still works. I cant get over that! lol

There are not now, nor have there ever been, plans to include steering wheel audio controls on the 06 xB.

This was a rumor based on their availability in other Scions.

The 06 is more because prices always go up. Given how much fuel it takes to manufacture and transport a car, I'm surprised the price increase was so small.

If you don't want to pay the increase, I understand they're handing out some nifty loot to people who buy leftover 05s.

The price increase has to be due to (aside from inflation) increased petroleum costs. In addition to fuel (it takes a lot to cross the Pacific) plastic also uses petroleum. There's lots of plastic in modern cars. Really, the $150 is so minor when buying a new car I would consider an increase of $150 over the previous model year a steal.

 

Got to recall, I looked into the priceing of both. Even the xA went up in cost for 2006, but it gained a few cool things, while the xB got shafted it seems. Also to the guy who said about gas, yeah is that why I have to now pay a $11 fee for my first half a tank of gas, so I can drive the car off the lot? I can see what your saying about the cost to get it from point a to b, but why should I get stuck with paying for my first 1/2 tank of gas. Its just companies trying to make money.

 

Huh. "Full tank of gas" was included with my xB, and even listed on the sticker. Are you sure you're dealing with a real Scion dealer?

Yeah. Times have changed, its half a tank & I got to pay for it now. , could be a florida thing now.

 

Must be a, FLA thing. Mine came from the Newark, NJ port, and it was only a month ago. Says ***Full Tank of Gas*** right on the sticker. Asterisks and everything.

Mine came with a full tank as well. 36.34 mpg on that one. 31.2 on the 2nd tank!

 

Well two things, first mine came full tank of gas last saturday.

Second the stock xB does not have that "ipod thingy" you gotta pay 260 to get it. It does come with an aux port but thats a aux port for ANYTHING that uses rca out.

The ipod thing is for ipod only. And I like it a lot.
