Default bb model kits. How many have you seen?

I have found three so far.

Just wondering how many are really available.

As far as needing assembly plastic models (not diecast) you found both of them (the 3 you show above is actually only 2...the second gen bB tho it is 2 different kits is really the same kit with slightly different options and boxing). BTW either of these model manufacturers produce some of the finest plastic scale models in the world. I would recommend either companies kits to any builder. I own the first gen bB kit from Tamiya, I haven't built it yet but I will soon I think. It took a bit of searching around to find it. In fact I had no luck till I ran across one on ebay. Tamiya is kinda weird. They have 100's of kits (perhaps thousands) but what gets imported to the US is very limited. Fujimi items are even harder (alot harder). Fujimi makes a number of 1/24 scale custom wheel and tire sets (really nice stuff) (dam I want that set of chrome 1/24 scale 18's I saw:/)that are very hard to locate and purchase unless maybe if you could read Japanese you could do something off their site?? Again Fujimi kits that are imported are limited. A number of Fujimi aircraft kits are common as are some of their Armor (tanks etc)....Tamiya imports are somewhat similar, lots of armor, some aircraft, and a few cars (mostly racing). Both these companies have extensive lines of Car models they are the Revel and Monogram of the east (except their detail and quality blow Revel and Monogram out of the galaxy).

I have seen at least 8 versions of diecasts. Jada toys/Dubcity being one and Maisto being another (these 2 are roughly 1/24 scale). The Maisto is more correct in body shape and proportions and stockness;)...the Dubcity/Jadatoys units are way cooler (heavily modded).

There's some more made by Fujimi of the first gen bB also. There was also another version of the tamiya bB it was a prepainted body one. Tamiya is lightyears ahead of Fujimi in kit quality.

www.HLJ.com is a good place other than ebay to find the bB kits.

True the Tamiya > Fujimi statement but either are far superior to our more common US models (Revell, monogram, Testors etc.) Another excellent plastic model maker is Hasegawa (mostly military stuff planes).

I have always been a fan of tamiya since i was a kid. Just learned about fujimi recently.
I don't plan on building any of them just something else to collect.

Yeah the Maisto is kinda weak tho it is proportioned well (stocklike) compared to the Jada offering.

Imai also made 1/32 scale ones, 2 were prepainted with mazora paints and the other one was a mooneyes one. I never have been able to get my hands on one of those kits though.

Fujimi 1/24 Blitz Toyota Z/1.5 2WD bB
Fujimi 1/24 Toyota bB "Black Metal"
Fujimi 1/24 Toyota bB Fire Decal Version
Fujimi 1/24 New Toyota bB 1.5Z X Version
Fujimi 1/24 Toyota New bB Z "Q Ver"/ Z Ver
Fujimi 1/24 Toyota New bB Styling Package Ver A
Tamiya 1/24 Toyota bB
Fujimi 1/24 Toyota bB w/ Wald Avant
Fujimi 1/24 Damd Toyota bB Black Metal
Fujimi 1/24 Aeromaster Toyota bB
Fujimi 1/24 Toyota bB "Z Version"
Imai 1/32 Toyota bB Mazjora Andromeda
Imai 1/32 Toyota bB Mazjora Torapezium
Imai 1/32 Toyota bB Mooneyes
Tamiya 1/24 Toyota bB Dragon Color

Those are all the bB plastic kits I can think of
