you probably actually needed the center cover on it since it'll have the logo on it.

Where is the toyota logo? Is that not the whole reason of buying the steering wheel for the toyota logo instead of the scion logo.

The USA SCION Leather Steering wheel uses the existing logo center piece. This is a good way to get leather steering wheel without having to pay the $300. Only its not two tone and doesn't have the knobby grips at 10 and 2.

Exactly! I wanted a leather steering wheel, but didn't want to spend over $200 to get one. For $50.00 I get a factory leather steering wheel for the price of a "stitch it on yourself" leather cover. I'm 41 and don't care about the two tone look. I also like the Scion logo better than the Toyota one too...

Kevin I agree with you completely, I like the two-tone if it matched the car color scheme. But, you know those leather wrapped jobs just look bad and eventually end up falling off. ALways best to get leather steering wheel, not covers. I hope the install went well. Post pics if you do it. For 50 bucks I could live without the twotone anyway, and I don't like the knobby bumps at 10 and 2 anyhow.

I see you're from Hicksville, NY - I grew up on LI also - Middle Island.

Update:

The "leather" steering wheel turned out to be the rubber/plastic one that already comes in the car. I emailed the guy I bought it from and he has refunded my money. I'm shipping it back to him.

Ah, I guess it was too good to be true.

That's exactly what I said when i clicked your ebay link...

"uh...does this guy NOT know that he just won a STOCK STEERING WHEEL...?!"

Well...i'm glad you didn't get ripped off at least...take a look at the Toyota bB site...the steering wheel is certainly distinctive looking compared to it's US counterpart.
