Randode.. does this clean up the shift too or just shorten it? The cheap feel of the shifts is the biggest reason I might not get a second xB.. not only because I don't like it but because my WIFE hates it, but she hates how I spend so much money on the scion even more.

I need a testomonial... what you got?

I would have to buy, install, then ship back my stocker.

the throw is the same as subcodes TWM shifter, but the handle is only 1.5" shorter than stock, not 3" like the TWM. I have found the 3" shorter handle to be a little too short.

Silkywilson, i am currently looking for more "cores" so i can ship them out of state. I'll keep you posted.

Up here in Norcal, an hour driving is nothing! Infact I did it for the exposed meet, stayed in SD saturday night and drove back to irvine for a sunday meet at the Super Autobacs! I will plan something for a SoCal drive down though! :D

I just thought it was worth pointing out that the height of our shifter has been tested and retested by individuals of every body type. We found that reducing height by 3" resulted in a much more sporty feel without compromising comfort.

i just installed the TWM short shifter today. i was worried that the fact that it is physically 3" shorter than the stock one, it may cause me to lean when i shift. But, i was wrong, it more than compensates for the loss in height by the shortened shift. it also has a tighter shift. it feels much more responsive and i would recommend it to everyone. The car i originally test drove at the dealer had the TRD kit and it was not much different from the OEM shifter.

Yeah, I'm gonna opt for the TWM shifter (liked the quality of the Celica version). Probably opt for a TWM shift **** as well...

yea i kinda like the TWM shift **** too, but it has a lot of similarities to the Greddy ****. and the Greddy **** is about half the price. one thing though...im sure either know isnt nice to shift with after your car has been sitting in the sun for a couple hours..
