Maybe if those rear towhook things are still there they might drag some.

the first thing that hits the ground is the "frame braces" on the front. And they are now ground off, so now the resonator drags the ground. I am working on making some replaceable steel plates that I can put under there.

Put some titanium blocks to shoot some white hot sparks like that lime green box did in that famous video.

if they were not $55 for 2 small blocks I would, ha ha. I would be changing them too much for that b/c they are a softer metal, so they do not last long.

and here are some pics that I took as well.
The car will no sit any lower then this right now, as you can see the front sits on the ground, and the back the tires are sitting on the inter fender wells, so until I can tear out the back and cut it ou and tub it, it is not going any further.
I have to thank EZ Baked for the help with getting the front on the ground as well.

and here is some of the damage from dragging. this is just from those two videos, They got worse, and I removed them the other day.

Sweet pics and vids! I'm gonna keep an eye out around here at work for some titanium bar ends, or even better would be magnesium. If i can score some, i'll send it to you.

Magnesium is a real bad idea it does not take much to get that stuff burning and you will have one hell of a time putting it out would most likely burn the box down.
Hay Goth If you need some help with them braces let me know should be a EZ thing to make.

Have EZ make you up a couple steel channel brackets for the rear with a spot to bolt up a small chunk of magnesium.

Air cooled VW engine blocks are a great cheep score of magnesium. You can cut off 4" long sections, drill a hole in them, and bolt them up as needed and keep a few spares in the B for the quick change.

That will save the frame, and other undercarriage, keep the sparks in the rear, and change them like Zipo flints. lol

wow, thank for the info guys, I want to find something to put under there, that will lay flatish to the car, so it does not keep me from going as low, even if I have to cut a notch in the car to sink them blocks in that is cool too. I kinda want to keep whatever at the front of the car, it just looks better I think.
So I was thinking something as simple as an "L" shape to put flat up against the car, and be able to bolt it to the sides, right where those braces went.

VW engine blocks cut up was what we used to use one a friends draggen roadmaster mounted behind the front tires inside the body skirt so the car "rides" on a bath of sparks
