Default Billet Grill, whistle

:D
Hey everyone, great forum! I'm a new member and new XB owner. I apoligize if this has been discussed before. Recently I installed the Billet Grill(top, middle and lower)to my XB. Now I'm getting a loud whistle at 35mph to 45mph. I think the whistle is comming from the top grill, but not 100% certain. Has anyone else had this happen? What did you do for it? Appreciate any info/advise.
Thanks

My billet grills used to do the same thing. It comes from all 3 grills. The wind goes through the grills and makes the sound. I tried everything to get rid of it , but no luck. I finally just took them off .

No, you see, it's a special feature that scares away deer so you don't hit them. Normally you'd pay extra for that.

I've been considering the 3 piece billet grills cause they'll look great on my TCM. But this whistling has me reconsidering bigtime.

Could you hear the noise with the windows up? How noticeable was it?

I see several different billet grills being sold...which one do you guys have?

Thanks.

Munch's are the T Rex. I have the b-cools and they whistle like mad too. It's the nature of the beast. I'm taking mine off for winter, cause I don't need the rust AND I don't need the whistle making it sound even colder out than it is!

Does the top grill have a piece of plastic behind it like the one provided with the RS1?
