Default boost the sad hp..

whats up, i was wondering about ways to boost the hp of my xB that im getting in a few weeks. I know that with a new exhaust system i can get like 4 or 5 hp more, and with an intake a few more, but are there any other ways (that are affordable) other than turbo?

I recommend you read the topics contained within here...

There have been many HP explorers before you, read what they have discovered, young explorer scout!!!

Screw you, I am not working on saturdays anymore, I need to spend time practicing my O-face, and shopping at spencers trying to find the right pieces of flair!

Have you considered driving the car first?

I'm amazed how many people assume that the car is slow because of the HP number. Has everyone forgotten how to divide HP by weight to get a more meaningful performance number?

yeah, I thought the same thing when I first saw the specs last year...108 HP, that sucks.

Then I actually drove one, and now the only thing I'm doing to my engine is the SPFR intake, and it works fine.

The Scion is not a slow car, not even bone stock. Try driving one...then think about an intake, and then, if you're still not satisfied, think about forced induction. I'll tell you what, a s/c scion MOVES! Way faster than anything I'd need it for.

yea, supposably there is a xb in cleveland (with is NOT released yet there, but anyways) that smoked a WRX , like 5times in one night, yea, then the owner got out of the xb and it was Vin diesel, and he said to the WRX owner, "I live my life a quarter mile at a time, in those 20 min or more. i am free" yup that is the truth, Dominic Toretto owns a xb in cleveland.
