Just checked the other sites. We now have about 7 xB's coming it seems. Great to see the numbers shooting up. Every day brings another.

Great news from the resort:

The Dragon is OPEN! The rock slide has been cleared and US 129 is now reopened. Excellent to hear

Glad to hear that the Tennessee side is open. Will save me a few hours travel time across the Cherahala Skyway. Even though it is a beautiful drive.

You think we should plan on driving the Cherohala as well? We've yet to drive that road but everyone says it's great

If you love driving throught the mountains, then the Skyway is a great drive. If you like a slow drive and a look at history, then a drive through Cades Cove is nice. You may see deer, bear, turkey or any other critters. If you want to see some Virgin Forrest, the Joyce Kilmer Forrest it something to see and walk the trails. Just depends on what you want to do with your limited time.

Do we have an updated count as to how many Toasters are supposed to show up? Had to explain to my wife the Toaster reference in the new Kia Soul commercial.

Including yourself, we have roughly six. Which I suppose is pretty decent, with leeway for more to attend. Here's the update I am posting on all the websites.

Yet another update on Box the Dragon:
For all ye planning on attending…
We are arranging to have complimentary lanyards and badges, complete with a picture of your group and your car, as well as t-shirts for sale (see design below) for $10.

And as always, it isn’t too late to attend. Just leave a post on this forum letting us know your plans so we all have a general idea who’s coming. Hope to see you all there!

Make sure that you have 2 of the shirts in 2X

I think that you could drop the word rally on it though...

Hmmm...we have XL shirts...could you possibly wear an XL? The 2X is going to require a special order and cost a little more, and we won't be able to get the shirts in time for the event.

And we appreciate the input on the shirt. We just intended the word "rally" as more of a "getogether" term. It sounds cool nonetheless right? They're already printed but next year we'll be sure to take it into consideration.
