Sounds like most of the guys are staying at the Lodge at Fontana Village. I am hoping to get there about 8am myself. Hope they have somewhere to get some breakfast. I have a RS 2 Yellow XB. Hope to see you there.

Maybe we can do a morning run of all of us too (since a few people are showing up around 8 Saturday) before your 11 o'clock dragon run? And then take a lunch break and go back at it in the afternoon? It really doesn't matter I'm just throwing ideas out there

damn, its hard to find a room, much less an affordable one.

 

Yeah, I screwed up. Made a reservation at Berry Sweet Bed and Breakfast (in Lenoir City), instead of Sweet Berry Bed and Breakfast located on 72 not far from the Dragon. Didn't realize my mistake till it was too late. Rooms cheaper at Sweet Berry B&B. Looking at website of one and location of other. Puts me about 30-40+ minutes farther away from the Dragon. Live and learn.

 

I'm pretty sure the lodge is booked up. Try somewhere in Robbinsville? That's right there not too far away. Microtels are always pretty reliable. Hope you can find a room

with your luck you might want to check the front wheel bearings , they can cause the same problem but with out making noise , yet. Have fun on the Dragon.

Sure, I gotta come up to the lodge anyway, as thats the only place I have cell service and make a few business calls then hit the grocery store. Dunno what you guys absolutely had to do tomorrow but thats the short list... I think if the weather is nice we are gonna go ride the skyway

 

Alright, we have plans today at 3, and that should last only an hour or two at the most. Other than that, I'd love to come ride the skyway with ya man. I'm dying to do that. Also, we thought maybe you'd like your badge and lanyard? What time today could we meet?

 

Glad ya'll made it OK. Are there any places to eat around there? Only place I know of is the store on the N.C. side of the dragon at Deels Gap. Spending today cleaning the RS 2 and trying to doctor up the spot where my son brushed a curb at school yesterday. Good thing John Deere Yellow is such a close match. About one shade off, but works on rock chips. This one about the size of a small egg.

 

There's the grill at the resort, great place to eat, decent prices. That's where I'd recommend. If you want to go grab a sandwich and discuss where we're driving that could work, it doesn't matter.

That works for me. Will try to be at the Resort at 8 am. Wasn't someone coming from N.C. arriving about 8:30? How did the T-shirts turn out? I had to go to Chattanooga this morning and get oil changed. Son forgot to mention that it was time. Put me farther behind. Saw Scion Manager and mentioned the get together. He had not seen it on SL. He does want a shirt if there are any extras. See ya'll in the morning.
