Quickly__my O5 xB now has 225,000 miles. Repairs - battery, fuel door (remnants of early accident), plugs, brakes. That's it. I'll update you at the next significant milestone.

Yes, original belts. My mechanic did suggest a timing belt/chain come Spring. Maybe I'll have him do the serpentines as well.

I forgot - had to replace the a/c condenser a couple years ago (stone damage)

Good job! I'm expecting the same or higher (300K). Doing the timing chain and water pump while you are there would be wise to help it make it to 400K +.
You didn't mention any trans maint. I change out the auto fluid every 30K. That should help the trans last as long as the engine.

 

Very nice. And here I thought I was getting up there i milage at 120,000 in my 04 xB. I plan on keeping it until it dies. Only issue I've had was a rear wheel bearing replaced under warranty and the entire A/C system upgraded under warranty.

 

hi there, my 05xb just went over 236K last weekend, ive done belts, power steering pump, and 1 wheel bearing, and a couple of batteries but i live in minnesota so they dont last that long here

 

CAMOritaville went over the 250,000 mile mark today (7-14-10) at 1:37PM. Since the last post (first in this thread) I replaced the serpentine belt. It had been warning me via a squeal for years. Of course I ignored it until it was left lying in the road. I commenced driving the 6+ miles home without a water pump - stupid Stupid STUPID. Oh well - I've put an additional 2,000 miles on it. Pray for me. I want to put 300,000 miles on it.

 

This would have been a good time to have a roll of ductape.
