Default buying stuff off ebay

I was looking on ebay motors and found lots of stuff on there for my box. I was wondering if any of you folks ever had bad luck buying stuff off their? I found some head/tail lights, armrests, and wheels just thinking about buying a couple of things.

There was a post just the other day about this subject. The search button is your friend not your enemy. Use it , it works.

You won't run into any problems if you buy quality products from reputable sellers. Just search around here before you buy anything.

Stay away from body kits, ghetto performance parts, and headlights and you'll be fine.

Watch shipping prices and their feedback! As long as they are good you are OK!

i'd check SL first when looking into something more customized, or even hoods. I bought my Seibon DV hood on SL for DIRT CHEAP compared to Ebay!.

Everything else though i pretty much buy off of Ebay!. I go witht he Feedback rating. if they have over 100 sales, and their feedback is 90% ++ i will buy from them, after reading their feedbacks. Everyone on my island (guam, US territory) hate it when i say Ebay!, they relaize i know the shipping loopholes, and can get the products to my door, cheaper than buying from my local aftermarket accessory shops. this is a biggie for my audio components, and well pretty much everything, i would look around some of your local shops, they might have a sale that would beat the Ebay! price (take into account shipping).

I love ebay. It is my friend, all the shop owners around here hate ebay becasue they are so cheap. (for example: i went to talk to my audiobahn guy who just got in the Immortals yesterday, i asked if i could hook one upa nd see how it sounds. he got interested in the big ticket sale, and saw the 759.00 price tag walking out the door to some stupid kid who wants big bass. After hearing the product, i did my usual, i am gonna have to save up alittle more before i can get that, and left. ebay sells that specific Subwoofer for 195.00 plus shipping. I'd say its a deal.)

I mostly go with buy it now objects, and ALWAYS CHECK FEEDBACK. scan through items that other people have bought to see how long shipping was, how happy they are, if they would "repeat buy", and if they bought something similar. (you can always contact the member and ask how install was, how customer service is, etc etc)

I LOVE Ebay!

I agree with Wee Man 1000%! I am currently doing a lot of selling on eBay, with the occasional purchase. Feedback is of utmost importance with me and my buying decisions. Take into account the total picture (sale price + shipping and fees). ALWAYS read feedback if they are a huge operation. Most Powersellers are automated and have crappy customer service.
