Default bye bye camo, helllllllllooooooooo salsa red

traded my camo over the weekend for a 06 salsa red

camo hit 67k, parents were looking to buy an economical car. so instead of them buying an extra car, i traded mine in.

they would have kept mine and used it, but it was a manual and my mother cannot drive a manual.

here the pics, they are cellar phone pics

thats how many miles i put since feb 04.

as i took her off the lot thats what she had

i know my windows are/were dark :ninja:

thats the new one. i allready swapped the black grille onto the salsa red. waiting to throw on the strut bar i took out from the last one.

bye bye to my manual box

:o

more importantly this leaves me car less, which means a new car for me in the near future. ill probably pick one up next spring / early summer.

im hopin to have this by next year, i dont need a car right now because ill be moving in with my bro. my motorcycle is at his place, and if i need to drive a car i can always use his.

Mmm... Salsa... Congrats on the new box, dude!

I'm just wondering - Did you have any *serious* issues with your camo box @ 67k miles? meaning, was the car as tight at new as it was at 67k miles? any vibration sounds after that long of use? any engine/tranny related stuff @ that many miles?

I hope you have fun in the new box dude!

nothing wrong with the box at trade in, well besides the shocks. i think after 67k the ride got quite bumpy.

i got kbb trade in value for my box. which was 8500. not too shabby considering the lower lip was cracked, there was a nick in the hood about the size of a quarter, and door dings here and there. the front end basically has to be re-sprayed before selling the car onto the next consumer.

but whoever buys it, will be getting a pretty good deal.

the options on the new box inckude vehicle care package, arm rest, mats, and cruise control.

i really wanted zero options, but considering this was allready on the lot i didnt feel like waiting on order for one. losing value in my trade in hte mean time

How much did you pay for the New Box??
I just ordered mine on Saturday waiting for delivery on July 27th.

Just wanted to Compare.
I paid $16,118.52 OTD price. No options. Just the very base you can get. I got the 5spd in Polar White.
