Default Can I get a dealer to keep the stock wheels?

I'm going to buy another Xb for my lead technician to drive. When I bought my Xb, it came with factory alloy wheels that I replaced with Motegis. Just for fun, do you think I can talk a dealer into selling me an Xb with NO wheels and tires? Plus, he has to give me credit for the wheels!

I asked my sales man the same thing when i bought mine. He told me that if you buy say the base model, you can only recieve it as it is rolled of the assembly line or as in case with a Scion with any add-ons you choose. But he said they will not take parts of of it. But my dealership may be different here in N.C.

I live in Alabama, where summer and winter wheels are the same wheels. Now, YOU want to buy some wheels, Yankee?

What happens when you order the optional dealer alloy wheels?

(I'm talking about the dealer's process in handling the steelies when you order a new xB with alloys.)

When I got the first Xb with alloys, they didn't give me the stock wheels or a credit. I didn't expect them to. Let me explain that I'm just having some fun with this... I don't need another set of wheels to store at the house, so I'm going to negotiate with a few dealers to see if anyone is willing to keep the wheels.

Allright, it's good to have another good-ol-boy on this forum. I just kept my stock wheel in the garage. Sooner or later someone will want them.

Yea I asked them for a non painted, no wheels, no radio car. They wouldn't do it so I don't expect them to do it either.

And the results are in... everyone looked at me as if I had two heads. I realized I'd be better off keeping the damn things and selling them myself and quit wasting my time trying to have fun. Car dealers have NO sense of humor anymore... you can't even buy a car without wheels nowdays.

Anyone want to buy a stack of wheels and a large selection of OEM parts?
