Not the Cooper S if your comparing to a bone stock xB. But you sure can beat it at the gas pump. The Cooper and Cooper S drinks Premium fuel

I know first hand it can't. On the way to kansas a mini S was in front of us and we caught up and while we were flooring it he took off. NOT COOL! I like the xb more no matter what.

 

yesterday after i got the bottle filled at MAZDATRIX in bixby knolls i took a spin by the mini dealer and bmw dealer. just as i got to the light a cooper s is right besides me so i opened the bottle and got ready for the light to go green and off we went the s got off first but as soon as i got on the unit it was a differnt story it was cool because th xb was going threw revs quick and i was able to pull of ahead by half a car before the next light. the owner was shaking his head that the box can move. i told him it was stck and laugh. oh forgot to tell u i have a full sound system too..

 

nice. was it a 50 shot of NOS or 75? Yeah that damn mini was doing like 120 and we couldn't go fast up a hill we were way back there at like 100mph!

 

im currently doing close to 60 shot it pulls hard but i can feel the clutch straining alittle.

 

I am part of a Mini Club, and the xb stock or slighty modified cant beat the cooper none the less an S.

Now if there we a shot of Nitrous involved then that might be different.

btw its not stock....

 

i know the s is supercharged but its up at 200 hp ryte. a stock cooper is like 110 hp, juss as close to the xb's 108hp. Shouldnt a supercharger added to da xb be juss as close to the s?

Now, i can tell you from experience.... I don't believe the nos'd xb "beat" a Mini Cooper S.

the handling and completeness of the MINI or MINI Cooper S is hard to beat.
We have Mini's Spanking Subies, Porsche's, Ferrari's, Vettes and Vipers on the track.
One is basically a stock MCS with upgraded brakes.

Piston is probably one of the more skilled drivers behind the wheel in an xB, he commands the canyon and people are always commenting on how he handles it, keeping up with the Mini's, subies and a sexy Mazda.
