Default Car Hauler

Why cant uhual, penski, budget or any other moving equipment rental have a flat bed trailer that can accomidate the low ride height of the xB?

I called around, did the online thing and as soon as you give them the model they all back away saying that the car is too low for anything they have....I am thinking of towing my box from AZ to DC but want to keep all 4 wheels off the ground.

Any ideas?

The women will be fine.... Hide the sheep..

Take the car to the rental place and test fit the car to the trailer... find one that is out in the "sticks (country)" They tend to be more flexible with their rental policies.

good luck

A lot of UHaul places won't rent a trailer to you if your car is marked as a no-go in their computer.

When we towed my last supra home we had to "lie" to the computer (the sales guy knew about it) that it was an MR2. You may have to tell it another car to get the computer to allow them to release the trailer.

The downside is you may not be covered by insurance in the case of an accident.
