Default Carbon Fiber

im curious, how much in/on your car is too much?

looking on ebay (cause thats where i find new things to gawk over), you can get damn near everything with the carbon fiber look.

so, i was thinking, how much is too much? or is carbon fiber one of those things that just never gets 'old'?

:D

all in the eye of the beholder .... err modify-er.

up to you man, as long as you like it, that's what counts. i personally have the dealer CF trim inside and out, and i think it's enough.

IMO if your using carbon fiber for its performance upgrades ie stronger, less weight etc.. ok fine use it..... if your putting CF on cuz its the " look" because its CF... then its kind of a waste

the thing with carbon fiber is, yes it's a lot lighter, and yes it's a lot stronger in terms of stress and tension on parts. however, in terms of impact and brittleness, carbon fiber is a lot less flexible than stock or urethane parts. so say you consider a CF hood. yeah it saves you a lot of weight, which is good. at the same time, it's less likely to resist rock dings and more likely to have cracks easily. so choose according to your driving habits and environment.
