cd player problems

Default cd player problems

i put a cd in the cd player and it just kept saying seek disc so i ejected it and put it back in and it said the same thing. i tried to take it out and it wouldnt come out. the cd in light was blinking but it wouldnt come out. after a few hours i stopped for some food and start the car and the cd pops out and then i put it back in and it works? any one else have something similar happen

No... but I did notice something.

Don't ever put a label on your cd. Ya know, using those cd-stomper labels. The stock mp3 player doesn't do too well ejecting it. I had to pull the cd out slowly when it tried to eject.

So just be careful not to use a cd-stomper label on it.

A sharpie on the other hand is way better : )

lol now u tell me..i got like 5 cd's wit chewed up tops cause the cd player wouldnt ejected it

is it really cold and/or how new is it?

I got my xb in the dead of winter and the first few time sI staretd it up I got a disc error because (i think) it was so cold...

Still under warranty? Take it to the dealer. Make them fix it. I used to work at a Chevrolet dealer and we repaired a TON of GM CD players because they were CRAP.
If you have ANY issues with your car... no matter how trivial, take it to the dealer and make them fix it if your car is under warranty!
