Default chassis flex

when i enter driveways or go over speedbumps at an angle, i can hear the chassis flex coming from the rear of the car inside the cabin. any other xa people notice this? i hope it's not just me.

i have eibach springs and a dc strut bar. it wouldn't be either of these components contributing to the body flex im hearing, right? i didn't hear the flex before i got the mods.. but it may just be i didn't pay attention before?

nah its defently the car itself....you defently need some bracing in the back of some sorts....upgrading the sway bars would also help also making sure all bolts are tight in the back

Its the nature of a uni body car. Not much can be done except stiffing it with braces and connectors and then it will ride like an ox cart if you take all the flex away. full frame cars & trucks do it also go see a rock crawl sometime then you will see some serious flex. Honestly unless you quadruple the hp of these thingyou wont have any problems with it flexing some.

exactly. i had a chevy caprice before the scion and the body wasnt even bolted down to the frame. it used a shoulder bolt so that the body would not be solidly mounted to the frame. I guess they do this so the old folks who drive caprices wont shake their false teeth out.
