you could make a in-cabin air filter (thanks xBHawk, did it yesterday, should give fresh air and less dust in the cabin).
$10 at home depot could get you 6 filters, search DIY Cabin Air filter.
you could change the orange lights in the AC panel to another color by getting little bulb covers to put over the existing lights, i saw a pair for 3.99 at pep boys today.
1st topic in the tech section.
as for the LEDs, I'm not sure about the guage LEDs, but you can just buy LED dome lamps. i got blue ones, but they were too blue so i had a friend switch out 2 of the 6 blue LEDs to white LEDs to see a bit more, still can't see that great in the cabin though so i'll have him switch out 2 more.

Paint interior trim pieces...I've been using rustoleum automotive primer (flat black) and Then Rustoleum metal flake blue...finished in Rustoleum laquer. I used to mix different brands but got bad results..the all rustoleum approach has worked for me...plus i love how deep this blue is...

sure this will sound very dumb, and i am ok with that.
but does the xB come stock with a cabin filter? I have had no time to actually look, been working massive OT and then its toooo dark and cold and i forget to look.
If so, would buying the OEM one from the dealer be a good buy or making my own is better?

Plenty of inexpensive mods out there. cardomain.com has 1000+ 1st gen xB's listed with pics of many mod ideas. Some very modded, others practically stock. You might find some ideas from that listing. Scionlife has many listed in the the tech area, along with some very detailed step-by-step instructions. Enjoy the BOX.
