Don't have very much to go by. Cold climate? very short trips? what transmission/wheels&tires/options do you have?

Are you measuring accurately and consistently?

I have some numbers from my own experience posted in my thread at https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=119078.

That seems a little low. Have you actually filled the tank a couple of times and driven it to almost empty and then figured the mileage. There have been several threads on this subject lately. For instance:

I live in Southern New England. In the winter almost all my driving is between 1/2
and 2 1/2 miles, really bad for gas mileage. I keep really accurate mileage records and in the same situation with my Toyota 6 cylinder Solara I got between 15 and 16 MPG. With my xB manual I got 23 1/2 to 24 1/2 this past winter. I am very happy with that under those driving conditions. That's a 50% increase. Last summer I was getting 32 to 36 in my overall driving on much longer average trips then in the winter.

On my first tank from the dealer I calculated 36.5 mpg. Of couse the PW xB automatic is the best on milage.

i usually let it run down to about half a tank and fill it up and figure out my mileage. I usuall get 130-140 miles befor i fill it up.
