I'm planning on doing it myself, just a little timid about smashing the plastic lol. Isn't it within the glass/shatterable plastic housing? If you hit the reflector too hard, couldn't you break the housing? Someone post, i like the look of TCM + clear headlights.

Why is it that everyone willing to operate on other xBs is in Cali? I need to move, but I am scared of the sliding mud, shaking earth, and fires.

guys it is amazingly easy to do, i have no experience with cars at all and i cleared the corners this sunday. the only problem i ran into was pulling the front bumper out, i was a lil too careful with it and worried a lil too much, the yank! method was suggested to me by someone on this site and it worked perfectly,, the smash method was easy and with a screw driver, hammer, needle nose plyers, and blunt nose cutters i was able to break and remove the orange reflectors in about a half hour. i ordered chromed amber lights and they should be here shortly.. i cant wait... this is a great mod, my corner lights look a million times better and they still have the stock ambers in there... it def sets your box apart from the stockers....

none of those things are bad unless u live in so cal in the hills or the wilderness or san fran so basically the entire central valley has barely any problems . only bad thing about cali is the smogging of cars.
