Cruise is a DSO at your Scion dealer for $275.

I got mine on ebay at the following link. Very simple to install. Works perfect.

That's probably the same unit my dealer installed on my xB. At least the stalk control is the same.

I am getting this on Friday from my dealer; $290, and about an hour to do, so I am told.

It's going in a five speed.

Rostra makes one... I think they're all the same ones... I wouldn't be surprised if rostra was the one that supplies toyota with their OEM CCs

My dealer actually said they did not offer it, and said I should just to an automotive retail utlet and have it installed.

Has anyone used the one from this ebay seller?

I just looked at the other ebay sellers besides this one. It would appear that they are the same units, however, the other guy explains his better. I guess I'll try the Rostra unit

I ordered my Xb with cruise control. The dealer screwed up the install very badly. The stalk is set way off the mark and the thing doesn't even work. It's going to the shop to get fixed.

Look at the link I have above. This is the guy I bought mine from. It is a Rostra kit and works perfectly. It is also the same exact kit the dealers sell.

I installed a Rostra cruise in my xB. It works great and the install was fairly easy. (If you do some looking there is an article in the tech section of this site where a member installed a Rostra cruise and offers advice and suggestions about the install. It helped me out a lot).
Also, as far as I know Rostra is the supplier for Toyota.

How are the instructions on that kit? Is the kit "Plug N Play"?

The instructions are easy enough for almost anyone to understand ... there are pictures and diagrams to help, but I found a few easier ways to do a couple of the steps that worked better for me. For instance, they tell you to tap onto a black wire on the back of the fuse pannel for power, this step is too hard because the wire is almost impossible to get to, so I just tapped into the black and yellow wire coming off the ignition switch and got the same result. If you need some tips let me know.

You can go to the following link and download the installation manual for the Xa, Xb and check it out before you buy it. Click on custom fit Toyota Scion link and you will see it at the bottom.

I got the cruise control put in today. Took about 45 minutes. Easy install.

Easy since I watched the guy put it in!
