Default Daytime running lights

Hello all. I just imported a Polar White 2006 Xb to Canada from PA. What a trip I love the box. Anyways, I had read a post on the Hamsar 45055 DRL Module so I decided to go pick one up. I figured I would just get my mechanic to install it, but he kept pushing me off, too busy. So thanks to this forum I was able to tackle this project myself, with the help of Scion Xb schematics, and a little circuitry know how. I'm planning to finish my install tommorrow. I have everything alligator clipped right now and it works perfect. I'm thinking of posting some install pics for those of you canadians who would like to save a little money, and do it yourself.

^^^It's the law in Canada to have Daytime running lights. You know the human mind, we'll forget to turn them on manually...

I did this by adding LEDs to the HID bulb, I have it wired to my parking lights, but you could easily add something and wire it to the ignition wire.

I don't wanna threadjack (even if it's related) so here's my original thread on the topic.
